Weekly meeting and program, Jacki Lorenz on Rotary First Harvest
Jacki is the Development Director for Rotary First Harvest (RFH), a program of Rotary District 5030 that collects and distributes surplus fruits and vegetables to the poor in our region. RFH acts as a conduit between farmers and the programs that serve hungry individuals and families in our region. Monthly Volunteer Opportunity at POPY’s Café
Once a month volunteers from Rain City Rotary assist with the free dinner program at POPY's Café. This program is a collaboration between the Shoreline/South County Family YMCA and the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. The only program of its kind in north King County, POPY's Café provides a free meal every Wednesday to anyone who shows up. Volunteers from ages 12 to 75 help prepare and serve guests their meals each week.

The Great Baikal Trail Association is an international, volunteer-driven, non-profit organization that works to develop, maintain, promote, and protect Russia’s first network of hiking trails, and thereby advocate for the sustainable development of Lake Baikal. For more information click here.
